On March 3rd, 2022, at the Dublin 2021 Volunteer Recognition Award Ceremony Breaking BEARriers won the Dublin Organization of the year award, now two years in a row!
First and foremost, we would like to thank Dublin Mayor Melissa Hernandez, the Dublin City Council, and our brilliant fellow nominees. We are beyond honored to have our work recognized for this award.
This accomplishment is not something that we did alone. There are so many others who deserve to share this moment. We are always in debt to those who helped us throughout our journey. It was only through the contributions of club members, advisors, and board members was this possible.
Our club will continue our efforts to make the world a better place, to inspire peers to learn persistence, develop creativity, and create positive impacts for communities for many years to come. Opportunities and awards are always there for the right people, but it is living up to the expectations of the award that is most difficult.
